I’ve always dreamed of throwing a cowgirl-themed birthday party for one of my daughters—and while there’s still time, I’m not sure their interests are there (and I refuse to throw a party my little ones aren’t interested in). Thankfully, a friend has thrown some amazing parties for her daughter over the years, including this “three-haw” cowgirl party!!
Every year, she’s had creative and cute parties for her daughter, and the third party was just as awesome. Picture cute cowgirl outfits, real horses, and pink cowgirl desserts!

Charli’s Pink Cowgirl “Three-Haw” Birthday Party
Let’s kick this off by sharing some of the coolest parts of the birthday party—the decor! This party was designed by Always Eventful By Kaylee, and she really did an amazing job with the combination of hay, faux cowhide rug, and the cowgirl balloon arch attached to the backdrop.
Don’t even get me started on how cute the “Adopt-a-Pony” is; we’ll talk about it in just a second.

Pictured above is Charli and her mom, Shelby (who you can follow on IG here), wearing their Southern outfits for the day!
Honestly, the little white cowgirl boots have to be the cutest thing ever, and it’s just a bonus that Shelby found a matching mama pair!
Cowgirl Party Favors: “Adopt-a-Pony”
In what has to be the cutest party favor set-up ever (although the “Adopt-a-Dino” from my nephew’s Three-Rex party is a super close second), this “Adopt-a-Pony” party favor is both the perfect party decor and a great option to give your party-goers a little treat before they leave!

If you want a shelved arch like this one, I highly recommend working with an event planner or rental service! These shelves are expensive (upwards of $200) and if you’re only planning to use it for this party, it would be best to rent!
Or, if you’re a DIY-er (or have a husband you can convince to build one for you, like me), you can follow this quick tutorial by Our Upstate Home here. As for the horses, there’s a set of multiple on Amazon that are a decent size!
“Three-Haw” Birthday Party Desserts
What’s a birthday party without the desserts—especially a cake! While there wasn’t a dessert bar or extravagant dessert table (as I’m often guilty of, like for my son’s Mario Bros Birthday Party), the cake and sugar-cookie combo were enough to steal the show!
I absolutely adore the pink boot birthday cake candles and the photo display is from the matching photoshoot they did for her third birthday—which we’ll look at below!

I really am such a sugar cookie fan, I wish I had the decoration skills and patience it requires to look good (maybe one day)!
A Cowgirl Birthday Photoshoot
Can I say I’m a huge fan of birthday photos? Cause I am! I’m glad Shelby decided to do a photoshoot for her daughter to celebrate her birthday—and I’m sure her daughter had tons of fun too!
They took so many photos, all of them adorable:

Of course, the “Long Live Cowgirls” Tee and Belled Jeans combo was a personal favorite! It really delivered the little cowgirl vibes!
But, that’s it for this three-year-old cowgirl birthday party! Here’s a huge thank-you to Shelby for letting me feature this birthday on the blog for everyone to use as inspiration!!
Love this Party? Pin it!
