11 Two Sweet Birthday Cakes for Your Toddler Girl

Celebrations

I’m very guilty of throwing my toddler a two-sweet-themed second birthday party. It took me a while to narrow it down—mainly because there were so many options—but it really suited her, and she absolutely loved it! One of my absolute favorite parts was planning and designing her two-sweet birthday cake!

While I opted to order her cake from the professionals (I love DIY, but I’m not stressing myself for the busy day), you can absolutely find inspiration to create your own. The goal is to create something your toddler will love, doesn’t matter how it comes to be!

Every time I look up cakes I’m always surprised by the variety of designs – specifically themed designs! I had a similar experience when finding inspiration for a Two Groovy birthday cake. This time I just swapped the theme to “Two Sweet.”

Let’s look at these adorable two sweet birthday cakes that you can use for your toddler’s birthday party:

Deliciously Cute Two-Sweet Birthday Cakes for Your Toddler’s Birthday Party

As always, please remember that some super-talented bakers are working hard to create these cakes, so always mention credit if you use them for inspiration!

Also, this is for inspiration, so please take your own creative spin on it — you’ll end up doing something amazing!

Now, here are my favorite two-sweet birthday cakes for your two-year-old party:

#1. Sugar Cookie Two Sweet Birthday Cake by Mad River Bakes

Starting the list off strong, this birthday cake is a single tier but has this really pretty striped design – it’s also the only one with cotton candy and rock candy as decoration.

This two-sweet cake by Mad River Bakes is definitely memorable and possibly achievable if you’re handy with the mixer.

#2. Ice Cream Themed Two Sweet Cake by Frost Bites

The iced ice cream cones decorating the sides of this cake by Frost Bites bakery stole the show! It’s what attracted me to this specific design, along with the intricate cake topper. I would say that this is a personal favorite.

#3. Two Sweet Birthday Cake by Deni Bakes

Although the cake topper is simple, the extreme amount of sweets and decorations on this cake are not, and they are what earned this cake a spot on the list!

This cake is by Deni Bakes and features a lot of chocolate decorations, sweets, and other bakery items to achieve the desired two-sweet look. Honestly, this cake is gorgeous but would definitely be too sweet for me.

#4. Two Sweet Ice Cream Themed Birthday Cake by Sweet Flora Desserts

I think this Two-Sweet Ice Cream-Themed Birthday Cake by Sweet Flora Desserts really stands out thanks to its clean lines! It’s beautiful and, while not necessarily minimalistic, very simple in its design compared to many two-sweet cakes.

The pastels are also the perfect combination for this style! Custom Topper “Layla is Two Sweet” Topper by Steff Creates.

#5. Pink and Blue Muted Two Sweet Birthday Cake by Zeffa Creations

I couldn’t skip over this gorgeous muted pink and blue cake by Zeffa Creations. It’s a perfect alternative style to your typical pastel or bold colors for a two-sweet-themed birthday party.

This specific cake uses real sweets (like miniature cupcakes and donuts) rather than trying to craft from chocolate or mimic using fondant.

#6. Pink and Purple Two Sweet Cake by Sharr’s Bake House

The pink and purple combo in this cake by Sharr’s Bake House is really what earned its spot on the list. It also goes to show that you can feature multiple sweets without them looking “too busy” or being overwhelming in design.

I couldn’t find the exact cake topper used, but there is a similar style from BlossomsCraftsCA on Etsy!

#7. Pastel “Two” Letter Cake by Brown is for You Bakery

I think this cake just goes to show that you don’t have to say “Two Sweet” for your cake to match your toddler’s birthday party theme.

The pastels, the stack, the pearls, it’s perfect! Honestly, this cake by Brown is for You is probably what I would pick for my daughter’s two-year-old birthday party, even if it was in another theme.

#8. Cutesy Two Sweet Birthday Cake by Cake Wizard Najia

There have been a lot of boho cake designs on this list, and I’m glad that this one is spicing it up! This cutesy green, yellow, pink, purple, and blue two-sweet birthday cake by Cake Wizard Najia is the perfect option for someone who is looking for something bold, fun, and creative.

#9. Donut Two Sweet Cake by Kimie Made the Cake

Not every cake needs to have everything to look good, and this bake by Kimie Made the Cake is the best example of that! Even with mainly just the two donuts on top and the mini-cupcakes, it’s one of the best two sweet birthday cakes for toddler girls on the list.

#10. Peach and Gold Themed Simple Two Sweet Cake by Iced by Taylor

One of the few birthday cake designs that didn’t include the “dripped” icing on top, this peach, green, gold, and purple-themed birthday cake by Iced by Taylor is gorgeous! Would definitely recommend something like this for your Two Sweet birthday girl.

#11. Two-Tier Two Sweet Birthday Cake by Kimberlys Cakery

A luxe buttercream cake covered in delicious sweets – sounds perfect, right? That’s exactly the look this bake by Kimberly’s Cakery gives, and it’s amazing.

I really love the combination of pastel colors, too. She really branched away from just purples and pinks by adding in the blues, greens, and yellows.

That’s all for now! If you’re looking for more ideas for your two-year-old’s birthday party, don’t forget to check out our list of creative themes!
