I finished my more traditional Christmas charcuterie—but, I didn’t want it to end there. I had more ideas, more things to create, more Christmas goodies to display…which is why I created this cute hot cocoa Christmas charcuterie, too.
Okay, maybe I didn’t do it all by myself, I had the help of a close friend because organizing marshmallows was not as easy as I thought. But, it all turned out well in the end.
We actually did two different hot cocoa boards, a big one, and then broke it down into three little ones for the miniature hot cocoa party for my littles.

What I Used for My Hot Cocoa Christmas Charcuterie

Since this was a two-part hot cocoa charcuterie experience, I’m going to try and share it in a way that makes the most sense. I also mostly grabbed things from the Dollar Tree (my total ended up being around $20 and we had a LOT left over), but I’ll be listing similar, easier-to-find items:
- This Three-Tiered Christmas Tree Tray for the big display
- This Christmas Candy dish trio for the individuals
- Peppermint Spoons
- Milk Chocolate Spoons
- Chocolate Reindeer
- Sweet Christmas Marshmallows
- Peppermint & Christmas Tree Peeps
- Mini Candy Canes
- Hot Cocoa Bombs
- Mini Marshmallows
Obviously, we couldn’t use it all (we’d need a ginormous board), but we did use at least three of each (because I have three littles).
The Individual Hot Cocoa Christmas Charcuterie Boards
As I mentioned before, the big board wasn’t the only one I did! I also split it into three to make it easier for my littles to use and share. I had a Gingerbread Man, a Christmas Bell, and a mini Christmas Tree!
I tried my best to divide up everything somewhat equally (although I did give slightly less the younger they were, for example, my smallest got much less than my biggest), but each did get a spoon of each type and a hot cocoa bomb.
Here’s how they turned out:

I used a white background for the little boards and tried to spruce up the background with a few Christmas lights as it started raining outside. Still, I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out (and may even be planning a hot cocoa party for the littles closer to Christmas, too).
I wonder if I can do something similar for a Christmas Gingerbread party? I’ll have to think on it—but wouldn’t it be nice to control the amount of sugar/candy each kid can use and go through for their gingerbread??
Anyways, let me know your thoughts down in the comments below!
