Once you surpass two children within a certain age, you tend to consider another way of rolling around (and keeping them in one spot). Rather than pushing a double-stroller with an extra attachment or pushing your two older kids and carrying your youngest in a wrap, one of those 4-seater stroller wagon seem like the best solution – and they can be, if you invest in the right one.
Sadly, not all 4-seater stroller wagons were made equally. Each have their own features, benefits, warranties, and price. And boy, do some of them have a PRICE TAG that’ll make you faint. Luckily, if you’re like me and don’t have the $700 to cough up but absolutely do need a way to push your kids around, most third-party shops partner with Sezzle, Shop Pay, and even Klarna for payment plans.
Before you consider investing in just any stroller wagon, here are some of the BEST 4-seater Stroller wagons on the market:
Let’s just say that a stroller wagon – particularly one that fits four kids – is not small by any means. While you can find smaller wagons than the Wonderfold Wagon pictured above, it won’t get too much better. The size was actually the pitfall of my Wonderfold, after my third was born, I didn’t have enough room in my Kia Sorento for all three kids and the wagon. At least, not easily.
If you’re curious, you can watch exactly how the Wonderfold W4 fits into my 2021 Kia Sorento right here.
This brings me to what you need to consider when you shop for these wagons. Most look and seem great in theory, but when used practically, it just doesn’t work out. I will say that if you have a good size mini-van, you can pretty much shop worry-free when considering the size.
Anyways, here’s what you need to consider before purchasing a stroller wagon:
Now that you know what to look for, let’s actually dive into the best 4-seater stroller wagons you can choose from:
Kicking off our list of stroller wagons is the Wonderfold X4 Push & Pull Quad Stroller Wagon. This 4-seater stroller wagon offers 5-point harnesses, adjustable push handle, and a pull handle. It also includes a reflective safety strip in design to ensure visibility and safety on morning and evening walks. This wagon can hold around 180 lbs and weighs around 41 lbs, much less than larger stroller wagons (which weigh in at 70+ lbs). You can use this wagon for kids 6 months and older.
This is the optimal Keenz meets Wonderfold in a much more affordable way. With high marks from most reviews, it’s the most affordable stroller wagon with the hanging seats for leg room. The JOYMOR Stroller Wagon for 4 Kids has a 5-point harness, double push handles, and a max weight capacity of 300 lbs. It also includes a removable center bar to allow your kids to be seated face-to-face or bus style. Unlike the hard plastic wheels offered on other wagons, this wagon has rubber wheels with built-in shock absorbers.
One step below what I personally own, the Wonderfold W4 Original Quad Stroller Wagon is a great luxury option without going “all the way.” While it lacks the extras included with a Keenz stroller wagon, it still has the seating with leg space, 5-point harness, and the storage bag. As with all Wonderfold W editions, it has a zippered access door on the opposite side of the handle to allow your toddlers and kids easy entry. This wagon is also less than the Keenz listed. If you want something with a little more luxury, you can try the Wonderfold W4 Elite like I have.

Similar to the Wonderfold that kicked off the list, this 4-seater wagon lacks leg room but makes up for it in capability. Unlike the luxury stroller wagons, this Keenz 7S+ Ultimate Adventure Stroller Wagon is meant for rougher terrain – a great alternative for families planning on attending sports events with no pathways or live in a rural area without many sidewalks. This 4-seater wagon also has a lot more “extras” to consider. It comes with a cooler and storage bag, 2 external pockets, and a snack tray with cupholders. Unlike the luxury style wagons, this wagon is not meant for any toddler under 12 months.
The final “official” stroller wagon in the list, the Keenz XC+ 2.0 is the epitome of a luxury 4-seater stroller wagon. It has the all-terrain wheels, raised seats, the snack tray with cup holders, reclining seats, blackout panels/UV protection standard, and tons of built-in storage. Honestly, all the “extras” it automatically includes is why it beats out the Wonderfold! The Keenz also has a push AND pull handle along with a 326 lbs weight limit. Definitely one of the best 4-seater stroller wagons around!
I’ve followed Wonderfold since before the Volkswagen edition was conceived and let’s just say that I’m impressed by the final result. Available in Sage Green and Bondi Blue, the Volkswagen limited edition comes with all the benefits of a Wonderfold Luxe – just with a little bit of Volkswagen additions.
Like all the stroller wagons on the list, the Wonderfold Volkswagen edition has a seat capacity of four with a weight limit of 99 lbs for each bench. The wagon’s total weight capacity is 300 lbs and the wagon weight (with seats) is 73.9 lbs. This edition does come with the all-terrain wheels, adjustable handlebar, reclining seats, and the 5-point harness with magnetic buckle.
While not technically a quad or four-seater stroller wagon, the BOB Gear Renegade 3-Seater Canopy Wagon deserved a quick mention just because of how unique the design is. With one child (most likely your eldest) on one end and your other two sitting together on the other end, it offers a unique solution for parents of three little kids!
It’s a great option for parents who love the outdoors and need a wagon that can handle tougher terrain, but also need a wagon that can hold more than two littles. It’s price range is right around that of a Wonderfold and middler-tier KEENZ wagon too!
