When I go out with my littles and I know they’re going to be hungry, I always try and get them to pick what they want to take. They each have their own character themed mini-bento box and get to pack three things of their choice.
Now, ‘their choice’ is technically from the options I prepare for them, so it’s ultimately up to you as the parent what their options will be. I always suggest using some comfort foods or familiar foods you know they’ll love and pairing them with at least one newer food.
