Getting ready for Easter and want to do something fun with the kids? Easter egg yard signs are so easy to make and the kids really enjoy it. Plus, you can use them year over year!

The yard eggs are made out of corrugated plastic sheets, and you spray them with an outdoor finish, so they are weatherproof. They stand up to rain and snow when they are complete. Not to mention they look super cute, and your neighborhood will love them.

How to Make Your Easter Egg Yard Signs:

  • First, draw your eggs on the corrugated plastic with a sharpie or pencil. Make sure the “tunnels” inside the plastic are vertical so that you can stick the stake in the bottom.
  • Cut out your eggs with the scissors or box cutter.
  • Use the spray primer to coat all of the eggs with primer. The craft paint will not stick well without it!
  • Let them dry fully.
  • Once dry, let the kids go to town on painting the eggs with the craft paint.
  • Let them dry again.
  • Once dry, spray the final weatherproof topcoat over the eggs.
  • Insert metal stake halfway into one hole on the bottom of the egg.
  • Stick them in the yard! You can put colored flood lights on them to light them up at night too.

You can make yard signs like this for any holiday including Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Halloween, and even birthdays
